I just changed to the 'Proper' theme and really like the layout. I thought it had a larger image size set than 500px. It would appear not, maybe I'm just impatient, but I am very keen to have images displayed at the width of the text, which I'm guessing is around 895px? Is there any chance of that, or can anyone offer any advice on displaying images in Posterous larger? The only dialogue I can find online about it is from back when images couldn't be displayed any larger than 500px. Any help would be much appreciated! My Posterous is http://inyourshadow.posterous.com.

Cheers,
Aaron

Proper is a flexible width theme, meaning the width of the center column adjusts to the width of your browser window. If I recall correctly, images are still set at 500px width for that theme, but you can increase the width by adding the following meta tag near the other meta tags in the advanced theme editor:

<meta name="number:Theme width" content="600"/>

I wouldn't go higher than 600, 700 absolute max. Might look good for you but not so much for everybody else with smaller browsers!

Fair call! Scrolling right to left on images is terribly frustrating. Thanks heaps for the quick reply, it's a great theme, epic work!
