I am creating a theme, I am almost finished but I am having trouble with the custom colors. I have used the following in the header

<meta name="color:Background" content="#FFFFFF">
<meta name="color:Primary Color" content="#30B2C0">

And then referenced them in the Css

color:{color:Primary Color};

However whenever I post it into the theme box, and preview, the colors don't appear. I have to go to the colors tab in customize and reset for them to take effect. They then appear, however once I save they default back.

Would appreciate any help.

If I'm understanding what you're asking...

Make sure you Save your theme rather than just preview. That will save the default colors. If you're just working on a theme and not saving it, it's not going to know to use your new colors and might revert to the default of the theme you were previewing before you pasted in code.
