Does anyone know if the Slideshow option can be turned off? I don't like how my photos display in fullscreen and would like just the "lightbox" affect that shows the photo at the size I upload.
OR, second choice - can I add some code to hide the little four arrow icon - "click to view in full screen". Bottom line I don't want my photos viewed in fullscreen.
Thanks

Unfortunately, no, I'm not aware of being able to turn this feature off. It's something that's been asked before too. I'd suggest emailing Posterous (at help@posterous.com) to suggest making this an option.

Thanks Cory - I (and others) have been asking Posterous for this option for a loooooong time, no response. Was hopping someone had found a workaround.
They only thing that really disappoints me about Posterous is their disinterest in fixing known bugs (the archive count) and responding to user input on issues like this "full screen" thing.

Unfortunately, I only know of the per-post method, which is to have ((nogallery)) at the end of your subject line. And there have been cases where it's been randomly ignored, and it takes 3-5 attempts at reposting before it works.
