Looking for help with building a theme

Hi,

Please take a look at http://www.immersion...terousblog.html to see what I would like the background & header of my blog to look like. The only thing I do not want is the white line that is after my striped header.

I am not sure that the way I have the background & header built will work with posterous so please look view the source code.

If you can help get this up and running please let me know.
