how to change the background of a specific post help for posterous users hoping to apply an image selectively

first post.

love this site. hope it takes off as much as posterous. is it because of the new format (email=blog) that it is impossible to find noobie-oriented info on posterous? probably.

i love you all. i want you to know. you're valuable.

however. I can NOT figure how to have an image behind certain (not all) posts on my posterous. since i am hoping to use posterous as an outlet for info on several bands, this tactic was GOING to help me differentiate between posts; most will not apply to the next.

I want content with a background (url) behind it. it works in the page preview. it will NOT WORK! AGH.

Are you saying you are working some css magic to use background-image to have an image behind a post? Works in the editor but not on the live site? And are you hosting your images on your own server or how are you doing that?
