I'm completely inexperienced with theming, coding, programming, etc. I like the ascetic of the default Posterous theme Simple Reader but really want the sidebar featured in the default Paramaibo theme. I've gone into the advanced section and with cutting and pasting code that seems relevant, I've managed to get the Paramaibo sidebar into the Simple Reader theme, but it's way down at the bottom below my posts. Is there an easy way to cut-and-paste the sidebar elements from Paramaibo into Simple Reader? I can change fonts, colors, and sizes to match but it's the formatting that I need help with. I want my sidebar to show a search box, My Other Sites, Tags, and Get Updates.

Any easy fixes?

Thanks so much!
