I want to have multiple post loops on the front page of my site. Each of the loops would contain only posts tagged with a certain tag. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to code for this inside the [block] elements? I could probably do this fairly easily with iframes, but that's obviously not something I want to do, lol.

Is it not possible because I can't have multiple post loops on the same page, or is it because they can't be sorted by a specific tag? I assume it's the latter.

I did get an email reply from someone at Posterous that said, "It might not be available in exactly the same layout, but it's possible to do this with link to tags. See our custom themeing reference for more details."

After reading over the theming reference, I didn't see how it could be done. I'm not sure what "link to tags" means. Hopefully I'll get an answer from them next week. They're really good about answering the help questions. My main goal is to be able to separate actual blog posts from single statuses, pictures, and videos. The "set-the-post-date-to-the-future" answer isn't really acceptable.

Thanks for the quick reply!

This is a server-side request. The theming engine is strictly front-end, so there's no way to limit to specific types of posts. The best way I can think of to accomplish this would be iframing multiple sites and using RSS to pull in the feeds, but of course, that isn't really a viable solution...

I was thinking iframes, but like you said, it's a really round-about way of doing it. It looks like I'll do a "www.websitename.com" setup for my blog posts and a "lifestream.websitename.com" setup for my statuses and individual pics and videos. That seems like the best option for now. Thanks again for your advice!
